No club would take Cancelo over Trent.What a shooting technique from him
nearly as good as Cancelo
They can't defend but Trent is consistently good in attack, best crosser in the world, one of the best long and short range passer, long distance shooter, dead ball specialist.
Just way too much star quality and X Factor.

TAA is super intelligent and not one Liverpool fan has ever complained about him not using his brain in Football. Impeccable vision and Football IQ.
Any flak he has recieved has been for his defending.

yeah dude i was just joking, trent has been better than cancelo this season but cancelo is quite similar to Trent and on a good day on same level

Cancelo at top form and TAA at top form is a toss up
TAA is even worse defensively than Cancelo who is a headcase himself defensively.
Problem is cancelo is often a headless chicken, if he has a good day he is unplayable like against Porto but need to be more consistent

But Trent is more consistent over the entire season and more complete player with more tools in his arsenal.

Yes, at Portugal same problem, he has matches where i think wow this guy is one of the best players in the world then two matches later he is loosing the ball and misplacing passes like Dest

Absolutely obscene technical ability. His Roberto Carlos attempt yesterday was epic.
Been great defensively this season. His game on the ball was always ridiculous. Back to being the best RB itw. Still pretty young.

He's a generational talent. Easily been the best RB of his generation and hasn't even peaked yet.

Not peak Alves level but yeah best in this generation
Cancelo has more talent imo but Trent is still better

Southgate being a clown doesn't change the fact that Trent has been the best RB itw for years now(with a dip for a while in defensive form in between).
He performs week in week out in the best league in the world(PL) and best cup competition in the world(CL) against the highest quality opponents for many many years since he came through the academy.......his performances do the talking.

Trent is definitely better than Cancelo who is extremely inconsistent and not reliable at all.
Also, Trent gets way better numbers consistently.
In terms of talent, I consider both to be of the same level. Cancelo is a better dribbler, ball carrier but Trent ball striking and passing range is insane. Different strengths.
