More important question is did he ever praised CR too on twitter? :messi:

I prefer to use G+A/minutes played over G+A/games played. 11 games don't tell much because a player could have played somewhere in between 10 minutes or 990 minutes.

He has 2 goals and 2 assists in 421 minues in the league, so he has directly participated in a goal every 105 minutes which is not bad. But we should look even deeper. He was sparely used by a former coach Ricardo Sa Pinto (7 appearances coming off the bench but just 134 total minutes) but he has become a starter since Ruben Amorim took over (4 games, 287 minutes, 2 goals, 1 assist).

Something similar happened to Joao Felix last year after a coaching change. He had 7 appeareances, 162 total minutes, 2 goals and 1 assist under Rui Vitoria but then exploded under Bruno Lage (13 goals+8 assists in 1.573 minutes).

Trincao is more a winger than a striker and he's also playing in a worse team so his total stats probably won't be as good as Felix's at the end of the season but they should still look much better than they do now playing regularly under a coach who fully trusts him.

If he is a good player, any coach will like to use him. The luck of playing time very often translates into not that good quality level. To be honest, I don't know very well this guy, but paying for someone like him 31 million euro is huge, huge mistake. If the board is not willing to bring in right wingers like J.Sancho or H.Ziyech, they should not sell Carles Perez to Roma. I don't think Trincao is any better than him. And where is the guarantee that he will play regularly under Setien?

The more I see, the more I like.

He's got a bit of Franck Ribery in him.

Whew!

Of course coach's trust and regular playing time is important for a young player's confidence.

Perez is an average player who will play for a midtable La Liga team in a year or two. Trincao is almost two years younger and already twice the player and if given an opportunity this year Collado will also show more than Perez.

I see you've already moved from Team Dembele to Team Trincao? :p

If Dembele will be out for more than 5 months we should try to bring him now. I know he can't play in CL but this season is over anyway so he could adapt for the next season. Don't believe Braga will let him go though.

I thought we could only bring in players from La Liga? and anything that falls under that umbrella i.e. Segunda

Don't think we can't actually register a player who is not already playing in Spain.

You can only registrate players from La Liga or free agents.

The new contract of Trincao will take effect on July 1, 2020. Till then, he is Sporting Braga's player. But, I am wondering if our management can work a deal for their central forward Paulinho, who is former Portuguese national. In 15 games he has scored 9 goals and have 2 assists. His market value at the moment is just 6.6 mil. euro. He can fill in the spot of Luis Suarez.

As mentioned in previous posts we can't bring a player outside of La Liga (or a free agent) right now. And in summer we'll be looking for better players than this Paulinho guy.

I was thinking about the summer, of course, but as of lately, there is no indication that our board will sign big name central forward. That is why they have signed Rey Minaj. If Neymar comes back, there will be no enough money to sign any star player for any position, unless they sell Griezman, Dembele, Rakitic, Vidal, Umtiti and Semedo.

Rey Manaj is Barça B signing. We'l probably go after Lautaro. We shouldn't waste our time and money with Neymar though after what happened yesterday I could see Bartomeu trying to do Messi another favour.

That won't be the only reason. The team need a World Class forward, preferably a right-footed winger.
