Purely psychological phase though. The 1-3 came out of nowhere, then Wolfsburg got nervous and only tried to clear the ball out of danger.
Gent would have a grfeat chance if they manage to keep it 0-0 at halftime, then suddenly score in the 2nd half to replicate this nervousity.

The CL is of a far higher quality than any domestic league, hence why so many solid performers of even the best leagues appear as "garbage in Europe". Roma and Arsenal are good examples of this, as are many others, like PSG, City etc...
