Obviously, because they were awesome in the first leg. Also kicked ass against Barcelona when they had 2 sent off.

2 sent off and the victory was narrow. Not to mention their defense in the league, with only 12 goals conceded. Yeah, they're surely "easy opposition for most teams"

Being English, the last pen shoot out I watched was Italia '90.Never watched one since with England.

Would never watch Barca in a shoot out either.Usually go walkabout and check my phone 30 mins later lol.

2 sent off and they didn't look good. They haven't looked good against PSV, they didn't look good in last seasons UCL. They're a tough team with a top manager but they haven't imposed themselves enough against elite teams imo. They'd be easy work for the favorites of the competition.

I have no doubt our players will keep their calm and come through in a penalty-shootout.

Pff heartbreaking loss, PSV could really have been amongst the final 8....Atleti was better of course, but losing even when converting 7 penalties is pretty terrible. Zoet could've done better with the penalties, but he had two massive games, so I can't complain about him, really. We only created 2 good chances in 210 minutes, so we didn't deserve it as much at Atleti did. That said, I'm proud of the team, and now I hope we can beat Ajax on sunday to put us in the lead by 4 points. It's already a memorable season, so I hope we can clinch the final prize left - the Eredivisie title - to top it off with a trophy.

Worst thing about that shoot out was Danny Mills commentating!

Predicted PSV to miss every time. Ranging from not looking confident, not liking left footers and players hair style.

Then acted cocky as fuck when they did eventually miss as he said it was a silly decision to sub of De Jong.

De Jong really couldn't even walk anymore, so it's understandable. I would've brought on the experienced Stijn Schaars though, as he is a more reliable penalty taker. Narsingh is always nervous, so he's not a good fit for situations like this. That said, it was our 8th penalty: Zoet probably should've stopped at least one by then.

Zoet and Oblak looked really poor on the penalties.

Between them must have got hands to at least 4/5 and jumped too high for more than one.

True, that's why it's so frustrating that Narsingh hit the bar.....their keeper didn't look like actually saving one, so giving them a free shot, essentially, proved crucial.

yes, you will probably enjoying watching atletic - barca in next round or in semifinal when atletico have nothing to lose, they had 2 red cards in la liga match, just think what will they do in CL when they are frustrated

would rather play the best and Barca always Step their game up in the big games.
