Bayern to batter Atletico.

3-1 will be the score. If they get an early goal I think the floodgates will open.

Atletico know that they themselves will struggle to score 2 goals against such a large amount of possession. If Atletico threaten to open the game up that plays into Guardiolas hands. Atletico must not allow Bayern to score 3 goals. . . . . Even if Bayern are up 2-0, Atletico can't afford to change their gameplan.
And they don't have to change their gameplan as Serghei put it quite well

Atletico can score without attacking as a team. They can score simply by exploiting favourable occurencies in a game, and they have players who can do that, like Griezmann, Torres, Saul or Koke. Arguably, the biggest scoring chance of the game vs Bayern, besides the goal, was Torres'. That says a lot about their strenght of creating chances from defensive position. Their transition is immense. They never allow the other team to regroup. If Bayern loses the ball and is caught with 8 men in front of the ball, neither of the 8 men will be able to get back behind the ball in time to stop that counter-attack. That means Atletico is faster with the ball on the counter, than their opponents are without it. That's their biggest strenght imo. They get on the ball few minutes when playing Barca, Real, Bayern type of teams. But when they do, they make it count.

Benzema is going to be high on injections, he has no Euro to worry about. Ronaldo is different because he's risking Euro's if he hurries.

We need possession and being solid at defence so that middlefield is the perfect balance of that. Vasquez would help with defending and Bale would be the focal point. Benzema is going to relapse sometimes in the match and he should be subbed off after 50 minutes anways. The likes of Ronaldo,James,Jese and Isco off the bench would do us wonders ,especially if we concede. Kovacic in we lead by 2 to help preserve the lead.
