so unlucky for german clubs.
Pushed 3 giants to their limits, scored the opener, then conceded 2 goals.
I mean look at the financial differences between the clubs respectively, yet played so brave. But it was all for nothing.
Seriously frustrating, but i'm still proud.

- Paris was ok. Didn't press much after going up 2-0, but finished strong with Ibra equaling Pauleta. Need a much stronger performance against Real.

- Both Manchester teams win due to penalties. Both were fortunate not to walk away with draws.

- Juventus playing strongly in Europe. Odd given how poor their league form has been.

Both Manchester teams were easily the better sides in the two games.

Man Utd should have won by more and City totally dominated game although looked suspect on the break.

Can hardly write off winning by pens. The only goal against Man City was a pen anyway.

:pep: What happened to Bundesliga tonight?

Thought Man United looked decent but surrendered control when Schweiny went off. Very impressed with PSG and Benfica results. PS, how naff is the Turkish league? lots of good players, horrible Euro results!

3-0 win against Shaktar, a strong team at home.

Very good first half, with a total domination. The second half was clearly for Shaktar, the midfielders (Verratti and especially Matuidi) were not good. Matuidi started like a bomb, now his form decreases

Ibra scores (with the help of Srna), but what a difficult match... His old injury affectes him... Sad, his preseason matchs were very promising... but an injury at his age, it's difficult to back in form. Now Pauleta and Ibra have the same total of goals with the colors of Paris S.G.

Strong defense, with an amazing performance of David Luiz, Aurier (1 goal tonight +important saves), and Maxwell. T.Silva was good like ever.

Not good finishing for Di Maria in 3 clear hot situations...

And Blanc doesn't choose Pastore as a starter ... Well, it's official, i hate him. No semi-finals for Blanc this year => OUT.

Seems like the German teams were the only ones who couldn't beat their English rivals this round. Not impressed.

In the end the quality of the Players won. Bundesliga is working at the maximum with their resources, they lack money and have a stupid rule which prevents Investment and Ownership. U can laugh at Premier League but the Bundesliga is far worse. We have a boring League and 1 Team performing in Europe. Its ultimate boredome

tbf Wolfsburg had a lot of the ball for the last 25 mins but didn't make any chances. Still impressed by them however.

Schneiderlin, Valencia, Rooney and Memphis were absolutely horrible. Mata, Smalling, Martial and Darmian excellent. Lost Control when Bastian went off but we should of finished the game off easily in the first half with 3 or 4 goals.

Huh? I thought it was from open play? https://streamable.com/ghdh

Also, Manchester United was dominated for a great portion of the second half, I wouldn't say they were easily the better team at all. Remember, they were playing at the Old Trafford, not Volkswagen Arena.

And suddenly it's the Spanish and German teams that are struggling.
Atletí should be able to make it through but they need to perform better, as for Sevilla they've started poorly both in the league and the CL and I don't see them finishing in the top 2.

Sorry meant that they missed a pen.

Man Utd should have been 3/4 one up at half time and dropped off to defend lead in latter part of game.
