I kinda don't like the idea of teams from the same country would face each other this early, It would be fine if it was in Quarterfinals. I really want all 4 La Liga teams to be on Quarterfinal and it sucks that Bilbao and Valencia have to face each other. As a La Liga fan, I want a Villarreal-Sevilla final.

It may well be intentional on the part of UEFA.

Valencia v Bilbao, Liverpool v Man United. Also, Leverkusen v Villarreal and Dortmund v Spurs is probably an indication that UEFA wants the EL to have teams from as many countries as possible. They probably don't want the major leagues to dominate the EL on top of what they are already doing in the CL.

Is there a particular reason that you say that so decisively?

If Basel will be underestimated from Sevilla, they will get through.

Spanish teams tend to destroy English teams in Europe. Add the EL mojo to Sevilla and it's all done and dusted before the game.

Somehow Basel almost always win against English teams (in the last 4 years they beat Chelsea(2x), Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs!), but always get completely destroyed by Spanish, especially in away games.

Just saw this comment:
"Typical that Liverpool and Manchester United both get the easiest possible draw."

Made me chuckle.

As a Liverpool supporter facing Utd is mouthwatering, but should the result go the wrong way, it doesn't bare thinking about!

Spurs resting several key-players against Dortmund, and PL is in the risk of losing 4th place to Italy. Good job.

Just as Napoli did. Same arguments year in year out. Tottenham chasing the title for the first time in god knows how long, CL locked up, i would play a full lot of reserves. Europa a distraction for most of the teams as usual + lots of games, no money incentive

Dortmund is in the same situation yet they're still trying to win it.
