I am Leg End
Now the morning after the night before and a few pints in between I'll look at our game in the cold light of day.

We were lucky that Man Utd didn't have their finishing boots on as they'd have scored 2 or 3 in the first 20 minutes. Firmino and Sturridge were poor for large spells and our midfield was absent. Saying that Sakho was magnificent last night, a rock.

But we need to improve as playing like that last night we'll go out to 6 of the 7 other teams (prague excepted).

That would be a great match indeed

And no one is giving Dortmund the title, just that saying Sevilla doesn't fear them is total non-sense at all, they are the most fearful team in EL right now :)

Hold the horses. I was saying I DON'T FEAR... personally, I don't fear BVB... I have my reasons. Would we get eliminated from BVB? Sure why not. They are quite strong, but I know Sevilla better than all of you here. You didn't watch every match of Sevilla, you don't know what's going on in the dressing room etc. the same with me, I don't know much about Barca, although I follow most of Barca's matches because my dad is a crazy Barca fan and we watch them together.

Anyway, at this point of the competition, every single team is fearful for Sevilla's management and players. I'm talking from the comfort of my home, of course it's easier said than done. However, I for one am very very certain that Sevilla will pass Dortmund easier than say... Braga. I know my team very well and surely I know what I'm talking about.

Also don't forget, Sevilla beat Dortmund in Europa League group stages just 2 years before the CL final. We had one win at Dortmund and one draw in Sevilla... and Sevilla's squad then could barely make it to the 5th spot in La Liga. Dortmund had a lot of players that were also present at the CL final. So that comparison of yours with 2 years ago is not valid.

With all due respect, Dortmund was a COMPLETELY different team that year though. They didn't even make it out of their EL group, they played totally inexperienced on international soil. That team despite having similaritys in the names, stands in little relation to the team that went straight into a CL final with pretty much the most exciting brand of football and additude as there was. You had Dortmund at a pretty early stage of their rise.

I know. But still there was a lot of fuss about that team back then. It wasn't easy to beat them... as we also had a poor crap team with Cigarini as our playmaker. But Sevilla did it and not only now that they're known to kill off big teams and decent playing ones, but historically it stands so.

A lot of people also said the same when we drew Porto in 2013-14, but we squashed them. Some even went to say that M'gladbach will eliminate us in 2014-15, but we also squashed them.

Then not to mention Benfica.. the almighty team. They were very strong at that time, but the ones with the trophy at hand were Sevilla. I don't know if you understand me well what I'm talking about here, but Europa League (and ex. Uefa Cup) is the competition where Sevilla feels like home anytime. This is the competition that made Sevilla famous at the first place... that it gave this team some international recognition. I would only be worried if we don't take this competition seriously, but so far, it didn't seem so (although we have been fielding weaker teams vs. Molde and Basel).

Surprised not to read a single comment about the Braga - Fenerbahce debacle with the fraudulent Croatian referee.

I really hate when Spanish teams get drawn with each other. Teams from the same country should only get drawn against each other on semifinals not this early. La Liga could have 5 or 6 teams on semifinals if they weren't knocking each other out.

I don't see how this is a fixed draw. Very illogical. If a fixed draw means that the favorites are drawn easier teams (like the CL draw), then how on earth can this be a fixed draw when none of the favorites except Villarreal (if we can call them favorites) got easy pairs?

Anyway, Bilbao is nothing to underestimate and will be a cracker of a tie. I feared Braga and Bilbao most, and we got one of them. Bilbao is the type of team that can punish you any time, and Sevilla always had issues when facing Bilbao in La Liga.

This was some shitty refereeing, yes...

I am not even talking about that one. Have you seen the instance where a Fener player got his second yellow and a penalty against for one of the most blatant cases of it not being hands?

Edit: Owh it's in the video. I thought you posted Braga's first goal where they were offside.
