Heia Norge!! We are going to win this. England was no match.

Our U21 team and setup is prob better than the senior team.

It says a lot... Or perhaps its Drillo and his useless style of play :/

70% possession. Lost 3-1. Think we just got Chelsea'd.

Not at all.

Whats the use of possession when you're just standing there and passing without any intent of attacking?

Norway were much better. Had more chances and were effective. Didnt park the bus either. Nothing close to what Chelsea did....

Out of possession Norway retreated to their defensive third. England attacked when we had the ball, we were just shit at it. Too many grafters in midfield without the final pass, and the only technical player in there is actually a centre back, playing further forward then Henderson, bizarrely. I'm not saying Norway weren't better by the way, but they didn't dominate the game. They parked the bus and then made good use of their limited possession.

Pearce is a clown, and he's already tried (successfully) to make the following inquest about too many players being missing instead of his own ineptitude.

The whole coaching setup in England is poor. Until that changes from the bottom up as opposed to top down PL academies, nothing will change. These attitudes of being obsessed with pace and power have always been present in England.

In the past there were skilled players due to the living conditions ie street football to compensate. Now that is gone nothing has replaced. There is a dearth of ball players and even when there were they like Hoddle were regarded with great suspicion.

Good post; the quality of coaching/quantity of coaches in England is shocking.

There are steps afoot to change things with smaller pitches/goals and more coaches to encourage technique/tactics/ball retention - all of which are v v poor in English players, IMO.
