They have a very good team. If they survive the transfer window, they surely can aim for the title.

Gotta be kidding. They were not in any European competition this season, crashed from CDR early and had to focus only in the league for the whole season, yet they have 65 points. Sevilla is in the quarters of EL, about to advance to the semis, and if we beat Granada tomorrow, we are equal with Valencia for the 4th on 65 points.

It could be true IF, not only they survive the transfer window, because of course they will survive as they have the multi-billionaire Peter Lim as an owner, but only IF they make some spectacular signings in the summer transfer window and hire a better manager, only then they can aspire for the title... and I'm still not sure about then.

Valencia is a pleasant city but somehow I have always had a negative view of their football team.

Nuno "Holy Spirit" has done a very good job though this season regardless of benefiting from rivals being busy in Europe. It will be a different story next season but Lim's project is interesting and I always welcome another title challenger.

Dani Parejo has done well this season and last season he was crucial when Valencia defeated us 2-3 at the Camp Nou. He did not have his best game today but that should not take anything away from his overall performance this season.

Felt like Valencia had one less player in going forward, he messed up everything.

Doesn't matter whether he had a good season or not. He's not the player who's gonna match VAL's ambitions. Even his own club fans don't rate him much.

They will require some serious investment in order to challenge on two fronts next season. We are about to find out if Peter Lim is willing to put his money where his mouth is!

It's not even certain that they will get that 4th spot yet.

But if anyone knows, if Sevilla win the EL and finish 4th at the same time, will Valencia take the 5th CL spot for Spain?
