Valencia already spent 70M this season and if they are forced to buy negredo it will be even higher. They need to sell Otamendi for very high amount to recoup some value. They bought Rodrigo (right winger no the center back caio), Cancelo and Gomes for 30, 15 and 15 respectively from benifica. All played on loan at valencia last season. They also bought Rodrigo caio talented center back. It will be interesting to see how they perform next season, if they sell otamendi i think they should buy good CB. Caio won't cut it.
