Basically,
cause he sucks.

They shoud try to get Mata/Lamela on loan deal if possible. Both Postiga and Pabon are not good enough, so a quality striker is a must buy. Dzeko or Chicharito shouldn't cost more than 25M€, IMO. Ricy Costa is also not a starter, so someone like Mussachio whose contract expires in June should affordable.(5M€)

Joao-Mussachio-Mathiew-Bernat
Oriol-Banega/Parejo
Mata-Canales/Jonas-Fede
Edin

If they are bought by Peter Lim or some Arab money, ofcourse.

Pizzi went toe to toe with Atletico in his second game in charge of the club, didn't get to watch it but seems promising so far. Hope he brings success to the remainder of their season.

Lim promises €50 million Valencia transfer funding

Peter Lim has insisted he’s as keen as ever to invest in Valencia, despite the recent speculation he’d had a change of heart, promising even more funds to be made available to the club, for the January transfer window.

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim, who has been at the centre of a takeover bid for Valencia, has reiterated his interest in completing the move and promises even more funds available for transfer spending, than had originally been suggested.

“I hope my offer is accepted. €40 million for signings is too little I feel. I have €50 million available to spend this month.

Lim will also be present at the Vicente Calderón on Tuesday night, to watch Valencia in action first-hand, during their second-leg encounter in the Copa del Rey against Atlético Madrid.

Showing no signs that his interest in the club has waned at any point, Lim insisted: “I really love football and I hope everything turns out well. My intentions are good and it’s a good offer I’ve made.”

Peter Lim's offer has been rejected by Bankia.

Would be disappointing but I heard it's because he didn't match up to the more lucrative offers  We can't know anything yet as Lim was the only bidder who went public with his intentions, the rest are still protected by confidentiality.

Valencia beat Betis 5-0 today, 2 goals and an assist for Paco who's been reborn this season. Most goals under Pizzi so far and he has a VERY impressive tally for his age and amount of games.

Does anyone know how Oriol Romeu has been doing this season? I've only seen him in a couple of matches but he seemed to do well

Paco has scored for Valencia again. I'm not fond of stealing talent from la liga clubs but he is almost exactly what people here would want in a "plan B" striker. 10 goals in 15 starts, about 6ft tall, very good poacher/finisher, and only 20 years old.

He'd be able to sub in late for big games to be the #9 that occupies defenders or gives us some extra dimension in attack. He could easily rotate around in Liga games for decent game time while putting Messi in a free role around the center/right. If we were to sell Alexis, Tello, Cuenca, and Afellay in the next couple of years we'd have an attack like this:

Messi as false 9, Neymar as creative/goalscoring LW, Pedro support/goalscoring LW/RW, Deulofeu (or Adama) direct goalscoring LW/RW, Paco as #9. That's a large variety of different profiles with some goalscorers, creators, dribblers, finishers, support players, etc.

*Note that this is for a few years down the line as Alexis shouldn't be sold this summer, Deulofeu and Adama both aren't ready for roles with increased responsibility, and Neymar isn't yet a consistent goalscorer for us.
