Victor Osimhen

It wasn't only an "on books" problem for the nth time. Every money that was spend was from financial loans, which had to be invested mostly for reducing debt. We had too many holes in the team, especially in defense, to spend 120m+ for a single player.

If we signed only Osimhen and nobody else, we'd be worse off today in our objective to win the league. Simple. We spent a limited amount of money for most bang for buck with an aging Lewandowski that can still produce high numbers in the league, and Kounde to bolster our defense.

Kounde, Lewa, Christensen are the best signings we made in years.

Says the 40+ year old man that has made nothing of his life.

Thank good you read & understand that 1+1/2=0.

In the real world, it's not that simple.

But in a world where we had plenty of money & could sign whoever we wanted, it probably is.

Plenty on in life chief. Dont worry.

You dont have a clue how it works.

It is that simple.

Barca had plenty of money to sign Haaland last summer.

Jammy was 100% correct.

It was.. the books in relation to financial fair play.

Had those rules not been in place no levers would have been pulled.

Cost on books and cash out last summer would not have been much different at all.

It wouldnt have been.

You dont have a clue as per usual.

100m for Oshimen was no more expensive on books than what paid for Lewa.

The restrictions on the books and FFP was what hampered Barca not cash and the cash situation would not have been any worse either.

Stop trying to sound like you have a clue.

If we paid 100m for osimhen, we would not have been able to sign Kounde, because the actual money the club had to spend was limited.

If your signing sign Osimhen & Raphinha only, or Oshimen & Kounde only, fine.

If your Saying Oshimen, plus raphinha, & Kounde, you're talking your usual horse shit

Your basic maths won't change that fact, the club didn't have endless resources, on the books cost is irrelevant to that fact.

Nope.

You dont have a clue.

Would still have been able to sign all who did if costs same or less on books.

The cash would be structured jutst as Lewas was and if anything less cash could have been paid out.

Cash wasnt the issue though it was the Fair Play rules and costs of players on books.

Besides, Osimhen last summer was not the almost sure thing it is now. He is exploding this season and showing things he didn't before. Even now he's, objectively, a risk at 120m+.

Now he's easily 2nd most expensive player after Mbappe I reckon.

You literally just claimed they would not have sold him for any less than would next summer as knew what they had.

Now when it suits he wasnt the same player.

I think now he's become from very expensive (last season) to obscenely expensive. Wouldn't be surprised to see Napoli asking 150m or so.

Cannot find anything about Napoli saying they would sell Osimhen for 100m last summer.

Just JamDav making up stuff as usual on the go it seems.

Anyway, this discussion is useless.

It's when you have 200k and you have no house and no car. Do you spend your 200k for a house and a Toyota, or you spend 200k on a Bentley and sleep in it.

JamDav says you could've got the Bentley.
