Will be interesting to see how Evanilson will do for Bournemouth. Needed some time to adapt but has now scored in back to back games vs Villa and City. If he can get double digits goals for a midtable team (Solanke scored 19 for them last season; BTW, he's another of those strikers who needed time to put it all together; he was scoring for fun in the Championship but never really in the PL until last year) in his first season then I think Gyokeres should have 15+ goals while playing for a better team.

Lazy rumours imo, Sporting already bought their Gyo replacement.

Also, unless we'll convince Lewa to leave there is no chance we'll buy a starting striker before 2026.
Ya, it's lazy. Its not even 3 months of football. Plus the source is a Portuguese newspaper. I call cap.

That's as smart as blindly trusting in Ter Stegen. So I totally believe that will happen.

Incredible transfer fee considering his scoring record in Denmark.

Yeah, especially if we compare him to Oskarsson who went for similar fee to Sociedad

Harder - 7 goals and 3 assists in 31 league games for Nordsjaelland

Oskarsson - 14 goals and 7 assists in 37 league games for Copenhagen

Pretty clear Sporting paid for his potential and not for what he's done so far in his career though. Can't blame them looking for a potential younger Gyokeres "clone" either after how good he turned out for them. He would probably go to some midtable PL team if he'd have a better track record already at this young age. But Sporting is no doubt the right stepping stone for Harder. He will get time to adapt and learn a trick or two from Gyokeres and then step up in his shoes next season. If he can get even close to Gyo's goalscoring record while being 7 years younger then you can imagine how crazy PL clubs would go after him in two years. Especially if Gyo would do well in PL. Ofc that doesn't mean automatically Harder would succeed there too but lot of people who now doubt players coming out of Primeira would change their minds.

On a side note I think Roque would do great for Sporting too but he clearly wanted to play regularly this season (can't blame him) which wouldn't happen as long as Gyokeres is there.
