See guys, and this goes for madridistas too, this kid is great. And not because he's consistent, but because he's PERsistent. Graham Hunter said it best - so many players in Barcelona, Madrid or other big teams today have self-doubt, they make one mistake in a big game and they question themselves bringing their entire effectiveness down. The way this kid is resilient to failure is something others should follow very closely. He will have 15 plays - 5 he will cock up by miscontrolling the ball, 5 times he'll overhit the shot/pass, 3 times he'll get stopped by the defender, but the 2 chances that happen for him something great will happen. And you may say Semedo had a great game containing him, which I agree, he did well.. but what did it matter for Vinicius? His juvenile mind and probably Zidane both say 'keep going'. Ultimately it reaps benefits, particularly this season more so than the previous one.

He may be a discount Robinho, he may never be a 100 game 80 goal 50 assist machine, but he is decisive.

It'll be a very difficult decision whether we should keep him for next season. It's in club and player's best interest to play more and Hazard won't be unlucky with injuries forever.

We love to make fun of him being ass in the final third, but do we even have a single player that can do what he does? Able to dribble and run at defenders at will, and win most of his 1v1 duels too.

If he can sort out his finishing or at least learn how to play a good pass, he's going to be a top 5 winger in the World. Easier said than done ofc.

Aye. And Vini, although young and doesn't suffer the grind properly just yet, seems a physical tank. If he takes his fitness with half the seriousness of CR, the worst problems he will have is impact related issues like Neymar.

+ for all the talk about Vini and Rodrygo being pitted against one another and competing for the same spot down the line, they seem to be the best of mates so far.

Madrid's only attacking threat. He needed what, like 100 opportunities before Madrid scored. Says more about Barca than Madrid that one guy is behind every attack and being the worst finisher in the world still manages to score.
