He’s clearly trying to work on his controlled shot. I always pointed out how he's bad at placing the ball. Previous game however he managed to score one finally working ball around the keeper and scoring in far corner. Got overzealous by it I guess as today tried to do again on 2 occasions when normally would have given the pass and absolutely ended up botching it.

That miss in the first half was criminal - when he was 6 yards out, just wide of the post, and tried to shoot to the near post. He had so much of the other side to curl it into. Tried to be too clever. Top players make mistakes but a player of his reputation has to score. It was the second-worst miss in the game after Lewa's effort off the post (and even Lewa had to sort his feet out a little as the ball was slightly behind him).

If he lifts the Ballon Dor it will be one of the most shameful moments in the history of football. Suarez did not get the Ballon Dor for non footballing reasons and he should not as well.

He is allowed to talk to the referee like nobody else can.

He gets awarded free kicks nobody else would get.

He is allowed to call for people to be booked whilst others get punished for it

He is constantly antagonising the crowd and only the crowd get punished for it if they react

Other players like Lamine are racially abused and they only act on it when Vini is the victim of it.

He is the most privileged footballer of all time.

Like others said, will be one of the worst winners ever. Especially when you realise that players like Henry, Suarez, Robben, Salah, etc. never have won it.

Really bad competition currently for the award, Lamine could be racking them up if he continues developing and Barca starts wining.
