So any player for Monaco must have been better than any that did not win their domestic league or get to CL semi.

Bakayoko is better than KDB dont you know....

While Fabinho cant get a game for Brazil Coutinho is the Brazilian player of the year.

Fabinho was one of the leaders of that team and remains instrumental to their success. The only reason he didn't move is because Monaco did not let him.

Anyways too much money for a defender, good defender though, especially since Liverpool problems are more structural that anything, although their defenders are pretty shit too.

This amount of money should be a warning for us. Umtiti's buy-out lies at 60M euros. Not that he wants to leave but he will be a bargain if he continues to play like he has since he joined us.

There was something recently about them trying to up it but he wants to wait until after the WC.

Why are you arguing with that fool. He is hyping and overrating all French clubs and players, just so he can say when QSG wins the league that they had world class competition, and it was not as easy as it seemed, it was because QSG is great not that the other teams suck. The reality is that all french clubs bar the qatari scum wouldn't even get a europa league spot in la liga or epl.

The reality is Monaco won a league title and reached the Semi’s of the UCL last season. Some of you become emotionally invested in insulting PSG that it exposes just how little you know of football in general.

Which does not mean every Monaco player is better than other clubs in other leagues that did not win their domestic title or win the CL.

Every Monaco player was better than PSG player then.

Messi cant be better than any Real player.

It's not just 75m euros but 75m pounds. That's really 85m in euros.

There is no valid reason to spend over 50m on a defender or goalkeeper even in today's market unless they're some sort of generational talent.

van Dijk alone isn't going to solve all of Liverpool's defensive woes. They need to revamp their entire backline and goalkeeping and even then Klopp's system isn't all that conducive to great defensive play.
