Vitor Roque (loaned to Real Betis)

I personally think it's the same theater as with Frenkie last summer. The outlets started all reporting he has to leave after his agent stated through the media, that Roque isn't leaving on loan. It's Laporta's way again to pressure a player through the press. Sadly became a normality in the club.

The Endrick v Roque debate was settled quickly.

Embarrassing really. Can't afford to make these type of mistakes in our current state. Responsible scout should be sacked.
There was no debate. Who ever makes that debate should start watching another sport regardless if Endrick flops at Real.
Our is a regular South American number 9, Endrick is a generational talent as a 9 or 10.
People are plain stupid or biased.
But on the other hand our starting 9 is a clown in many games and this Brazilian would have solved many games if given a chance. He is strong and agile, has some shooting skills unlike Lewandowski and Ferran.

Unlike like most people here i am of the firm belief that this guy kind of sucks. But his treatment and even purchase just goes to show the clown show off this club.
Tbh I think most people on here never had high hopes for this guy. I mean come, if you even suck on YouTube-highlights from Brazilian league… But yeah, why tf bother signing him when he has the first touch of a pirate with a wooden leg? He just gets the ball and runs at goal trying to run through defenders instead of around them lol and inshashots - and we paid 30M haha.

Should have registered him with the B then like Vini, Rodrygo and Reinier in their first 6 months in Europe. And cited the example of them three to Roque himself and the media.

Atleast he would be playing week in and out and adapting more patiently.

Xavi can then stick with his Ferrans and Guius for Lewy relief.

Back to the Madrid three, only one of them flopped but even then few will talk about it compared to Roque because they took the correct steps. And even then, they didn't discard Reinier after a few months. They loaned him to Dortmund, then Girona and then finally Frosinone.

It depends on whether or not we plan to get to 1 to 1 salary or still being on "exception" 60% rules.
In the later, you are right.
With the former, his salary impacts us equally at B team and first team. So, Xavi would still ask for him to go out.

It would have worked out the same. He would impact the salary cap, but unofficially as an expense.

Sporting wise he would be on 1300 minutes or so, and liking building a ton of goals and hype given that he is levels above any 9 we have in the B and the level in general, while also adjusting to our style of football. We could have controlled this narrative as he was also returning from an injury and brought to Europe early to adjust.

Insanity all around to blow up a long term signing over a short term manager who resigned, had a u-turn and in all likelehood doesn't finish the season.

This one has loan to Porto with a low buyout and high buyback written all over it. And a ton of regret.
