Vitor Roque

Curry fucked us one this one.

I definitely see what the club was cooking, especially with a aging Lewa.

But looking over his lack of ability to even control the ball is crazy work.

To be fair to Curry, he openly told us Estevao was better and the next Neymar and to sign him 100%.

Well ok, true we shouldn't completely close the door - but "back in the day" it was mostly us, Madrid and maybe Milan looking for the next "big thing" in SA. Now, everybody and their mother are looking and SA take advantage of that to drive up prizes - and for every Ney there are 10 Roques. But scouting on Roque was abysmal, dude looked terrible even on YT highlights from Brasilian league - and their defending is a fucking laugh... dude was just running into everybody, falling over, inshallah the ball in the direction of goal and got lucky. Ffs, the ball is his enemy - worst technique I've seen from a SA player ever.

Real Betis sporting director Manu Fajardo has denied rumors that Vitor Roque wants to leave for Palmeiras, calling them 'completely false'. The Barça loanee has played in 97% of Betis' games, though he has been benched in the last four. Via @mundodeportivo

The Andalusian team, which has Vitor Roque at least until the end of the season, is clear that in order to give the OK to a possible exit for ' Tigrinho ' in the middle of the season, it wants compensation. Either in the form of money, at least by paying Betis the part of the fee that it has paid the Brazilian up to now, or by increasing its percentage level on the rights to Ez Abde .

Note to club. Unilateral break clauses on loanees next time please.

Giving them percentage of Abde sale is good deal anyway. He isn't going to be sold for much profit considering he lost his starting place for a homegrown player.

Vitor Roque has no future at Barcelona in any case, no matter what happens with Palmeiras and Betis. Hansi Flick doesn’t count on Roque and selling the Brazilian remains one of the next moves planned. “I only focus on my players and he decided to leave”, Flick says. - Fabrizio Romano

It seems like the deal with Palmeiras already agreed with Barca, according to Matteo Moretto at least.

Loan with obligation to buy for 25M for 80% of his rights is the quoted numbers by other journalists, including Brazilian sources iirc (feel free to fact check it, I might have missed something).

Betis are trying to milk Barca and it is stopping the deal.

The one missed important detail, however, is Roque approval. Nothing on whether he gave his ok or not.

I think a Betis source denied he wants to leave, but they have incentive to leak that. OTOH, an agreement of that magnitude between Barca and Palmeiras is highly unlikely without Roque giving an ok, also Curry has an incentive to do it (like every agent, he gets a commission on any transfer, and he won't kill relationship with us).

Deadline in Brazil end on 28th of February. So, we will know how it ends soon, for the time veing at least. Since some sources say we will agree deal for July move if Betis continue to act that way.

Going to Palmeiras will be a great career move for him I feel. WCC in the summer too.

Betis should think long term, we helped them alot of recent when their FFP has been even more shredded than ours.

Yeah that is something Barca can have over Betis.. the players been sent there that have benefitted both.

If they get too greedy here that could end.

Back to Palmeiras, done deal

Well it's been a fun ride. I wonder if he ever comes back to Europe. He's fairly young and still has a lot of time to develop. If he starts banging goals in Brazil then I can see it happening.
