WC Qualifers 2018 - Europe

Strange to see Lahoz in Intl matches, until you realize he's just as shite away from the Primera - some typically egregious calls from this poor excuse for a referee. An analysis of the calls would surely show the favoritism to Portugal, particularly their shameful diving - without CR no less.

Suisse 2-0, two wonderful goals - Embolo & Mehmedi made the difference. Xhaka being Xhaka, some wonderful passes mixed with brainless bookings to get sent off unnecessarily. All with Shaqiri. Lichtsteiner should probably leave Juve, never going to get ahead of Dani and his lack of regular playing time showing like his age

Let's all agree that racism is bad and it should not be rationalized by any means.

It's a fact though, that serbs are extremely nationalist and the hooligans are out of their minds most of their time. However, the only one to blame is their government with their rigged system that allows these hooligans to operate, along with the other criminals, who are now very powerful and often dictate governmental decisions and behavior. Corruption, nepotism, organized crime etc. are disgusting phenomena that take place in every third world country of balkans. It's a cancer in this region, and if things do not get better in the near future, it may well be fatal.

I see people all the time "debating" (offensively) on youtube, facebook and other social media platforms about how kosovo is that, serbia is that, serbs that, albanians that, but most of these people have less than 5 euros a day to spend... and have nothing productive to do in their spare time, as an above user mentioned. It is all due to wrong politics, which take a toll on a country's economy, healthcare system, art, infrastructure, and most importantly, sport!

A complete change of circumstances are needed for Balkans to be stable and to shine as in the Yugoslav era. My parents have nostalgia and still miss the time when Josip Broz Tito was alive (the ex-Yugoslavia famous president). Everything was on its place back then... while now... things are very chaotic and there is no light at the end of the tunnel... so far.

Yeah, nice to see that atmosphere and fans :)

I wouldn't be surprised if Kosovo pulls an upset riding on this wave while we don't play well as it is and lack some key players.

1-1 is my call

Kosovo's defense resembles Gibraltar's... what a shame. All that attacking talent only to be wasted by pathetic defending and disastrous goalkeeping. Croatia deserving the lead and dominance.

Finland got fucked again by the ref, seriously? Once in a lifetime when Finland actually plays well, refs always fuck it up.

Iceland hatetrain here I come, paid cunts.

Edit: If the ball was over the goal line before the Iceland player kicked it from Hradecky's hand, I hold the right to withdraw all these ragepost's.

Bardh I was in the gym watching 2nd half and everyone commented that we should allow Kosovo to have their consolation goal. Kinda dick move not to allow it when we got such a great reception.

Ćiro Blazevic, Štimac, Bilić would have done differently imo

No... they simply didn't deserve it. Kosovo had a couple of scoring chances, but that's all. The pathetic defending and playing a very attacking 4-1-4-1 formation with only 1 midfielder that has defensive abilities (heck, not even Barca does that) took its toll and here's the result now.

Croatia wasn't anything special, but they didn't risk it and played slowly, but safely. Missing the brains (Modric and Rakitic) is not a small deal, but they were compact and showed how a serious team should play. Croatia is in fact one of the strongest NT's in European football, and if it wasn't for that unlucky loss vs. Portugal, they would've challenged for the title easily.

If Kosovo doesn't switch to a counter-attacking play soon, they will get demolished by every serious team that will face them along the way. Finland is very weak.... they were dominated by Kosovo in their own stadium and didn't show any signs of danger, a whole another story from today.

Though I still think that, considering the current pool of the players and others to join soon, Kosovo will do quite well in the future. The defense is the main part to be fixed.

Still don't know why there even is a Kosovo national team... it's like Albania's B team, everyone knows Kosovo will never play in a Euro or World Cup and all this team does is steal good players from Albania... we even have to play in Albania because we don't have proper stadiums lol... We already had great talents like Milot Rashica choose Kosovo, now Labinot Kabashi (Barça player) might play for Kosovo too, and what's up with Gashi? Heard he refused the Albania call up, maybe he'll play for Kosovo as well in the future... I don't see this as a positive at all, splitting great Albanian players between the 2 teams only weakens Albania's chances in future tournaments...

I'd consider the overall Kosovo NT squad way more talented than Albania's, specifically in the technical part. Still in the contrary, I think that Kosovo would've been at least similar in quality with Bosnia if they had some players from the Albania NT like: Abrashi, Kukeli, Hysaj, Mavraj. Kosovo's defense needs to be fixed... and I disagree with you that this team doesn't have a future, the majority can also play for the U23 (Olympic) NT, don't forget to take that into consideration. Most of the players are still developing and they are already having big roles in their clubs.

In the Albania NT, except E.Hysaj and M.Mavraj (maybe T.Xhaka to some extent) none of the others are key players in their respective clubs. In Kosovo you have: V.Berisha, M.Rashica, A.Zeneli, B.Celina, A.Meha, V.Muriqi, H.Kryeziu etc. There will soon come a time when Bundesliga 2 starters will not be able to get call ups in the final 23 squad due to the high competition. Moreover, Besart Berisha (the best striker in A-League for many years now) will join from November onward, along with another player, a very promising young talent, Florent Hadergjonaj (right back).

The defense shouldn't be necessarily fixed through players. With the right tactics and mach approach, anything can be achieved. The current coach Bunjaki is a terrible coach and he is not even a professional, which is hilarious. This squad needs a proper coach to take care of them.

Mark my words that you will see the Kosovo NT play in Euro 2020 tournament.
