The 90s was filled with badasses but they played positive football, that's the difference. Well Basile was pragmatic, Passarella, Bielsa and Pekerman all emphasized attacking football even if there was plenty of gamesmanship and thuggery. The 1990 team was a disgrace and there has been a conscious effort to move away from that but not to fill the team with choir boys.
