He aint that bad, yeah he is foolish sometimes but in the past he was good at tracking back, I remember when he used to mark ronaldo well, not recently but in the past he could get it right.

He used to be the best RB in the world, but he's overrated these days.

Nowadays Alves is an OK player, but people insist on calling him the best right back in the world - which he is not. That's why I think he's overrated. It's his reputation that makes him overrated, not his performance. Being overrated doesn't necessarily make someone a bad player, it just means he's less good than people think he is (which can still be awesome).

Alves is not ok,i seriously believe that as attacking minded he brings nothing more than Alba nowdays.You know the rest,he goes forward and forget to come back,and his defending is below average.I think his glory years are behind him + the fact that he brings unbalance in defence.And i ask you the question,if you have to choose between one attack minded back In Alves and Alba who would you keep?

Alba for me for sure. This season, he's been better both offensively and defensively. Alba's the present and the future. Alves, sadly, is the past.

Thats why i believe if we need to stabilize our defense we need to remove him from the line up and do what we did with Abidal

I say bench him for Montoya. Sell him if a good offer comes in and get a new RB (since Montoya's good enough to start, it can just be a backup RB and we don't have to spend that much).

I'd get rid of Alves without thinking twice. Alba has been far superior in every possible way.
