Martino seems to be coming ahead of Enrique at this time.

Who going for a relatively unknown coach who has never coached outside of South America? Rosell's South American fetish is really starting to irk me.

Really ? What is De Boer accomplished as a coach as to be called a great name ?

Oh, probably you mean Ajax getting knocked out by Steaua Bucharest in EL after winning the frist leg 2-0 ? :rofl1:

Wow, you seem to be very ignorant? De Boer has won 3 titles with Ajax in his first 3 seasons, knows our club and loves the philosophy of our club. To me the biggest pro for Frank de Boer is the fact is is very demanding of his players and staff. Just like Guardiola, Van Gaal etc are. You might not understand the language, but look at this moment:

After being 5-0 up against NEC, Ajax lost the ball due and let NEC score. Even though it's 5-0, there is still room for improvement. It reminds me of two people; Pep Guardiola and Carles Puyol. The latter fell out against Pique who wasn't concentrated in the last minutes of a 5-0 game or so.

Being very demanding can have it's toll, but I think that really is what is needed at our club. We don't want a puppet of Rosell/Zubi, but a critical and smart coach. De Boer is exactly that.

There aren't top coaches to sign imo, we will probably have Roura for the next season.

All the options look like jokes for a club like Barca.
Maybe in 2-3 years we can sign Klopp.

So all the options look like jokes but Roura coaching Barca for the next season ain't a bigger joke?!

Anonymous freaks? So if they aren't the biggest names or most high profile managers they are suddenly "anonymous freaks". Ignorance doesn't mean you can belittle their quality.

No, it means that it is FC Barcelona that we are speaking of and any name proposed to such a position as a manager to the boat should have proved somewhat sometimes that he is worthy of such a privilege ! Thus exceptions should be rare and not a method of hiring of the club ! So, their quality should be proved first and then we'll debate !

All of your names are completely unrealistic and show little thought behind it. Klopp is not going to leave Dortmund, it's insane to think that Wenger would leave Arsenal or that he's even a good option, and Heynckes is retired.

No, I've offered three names that I would like to see and I clearely mentioned there are quite a few others that can do the job, like Bielsa.
Nonetheless, FCB it is definitely not the club that every aspiring coach should get to train as easy as that !

The vid is not workin. Ok, De Boer can be called a decent or lets say good coach from the little experienced ones but still not a great one, at least he did not prove that yet !
I admit he is a better prospect than others mentioned here but he still needs quite alot to prove till he deserves to coach FCB !
If the management makes an emotional pick he along with Luis Enrique are probably the best choices but still, imo FCB needs a truly acknowledged trainer !

A season of infamy.

Calm down bro. It's like Neymar. Nearly everyone said that he will fail in Europe and then he prooved everyone wrong. Let's hope that it'll be the same. He will bring fresh air into our system and further and more important he will bring the pressing back.

Neymar has not proven himself in Europe yet. I just felt our management is taking too much of a gamble with Martino, an almost nobody outside of the South American circle. Why? Only because he was the manager of Messi's old club? Because Messi likes him? Because he prefers a pressing game? Says who Enrique does not?

I am hoping he is only a caretaker manager while our management is seeking a long-term replacement.
