The announcement of the new coach of Barcelona would take a few days because he could at this moment be coaching another team. [rac1]

So that leaves out Heynckes and Bielsa.

I'm putting my money on Lucho.

"He could be" does not mean "he is", right? Or in other words, RAC1 are guessing the obvious thing - he could be contracted, he could be not.

Heynkcey's would be AMAZING. Perfect choice right there but I only see him being a one season caretaker manager and then he'll retire.
Please not Lucho, I love the guy as a player but he would be a terrible choice I believe.
I believe it will be Biesla as he was linked to us when Pep stepped down. Don't know how I feel about that choice, could be genius or bad.

Bielsa may be great tactically, but I hear he causes all kinds of issues and fucked Bilbao up. No thanks.

There's only 2 on your list who fit the bill. Bielsa & De Boer. They're the only 2 who'll stick to Barca's philosophy, regardless of what situation they're in.
DeMatteo parks busses. Villas Boas' Spurs were exclusively counterattacking. Mancini's also too defensive. Jupp waterlogs a pitch to gain advantages.

I'm absolutely devastated for Tito. Unlike most of the fanboys on this forum, I'd have took being relegated and winning nothing last season at the cost for Tito's health. There was nothing to suggest Tito wasn't capable of coaching last season. When he was well, Barca were amazing for the first half of the season. He's been at Barca basically all his life and when he finally gets his dream job, he's forced to step down.

the big b would return us to the days our coach was bold enough to try new things, but i don't think our midfielders have the stamina to play his style.

If it comes to De Boer or Bielsa, I'd go for De Boer.

I have an enormous respect for Loco Bielsa, but he's just insane and unpredictable.
