World Cup 2018

Uruguay were comfortably the better side, they simply went and scored whenever they needed, and gave Portugal the ball for the rest of the match, knowing they are awful as a possession team.

Hats off to Uruguay's coach Oscar Tabarez. Can barely walk without support, is 71 year old. But still, his team has played wonderfully this WC

That's called true sportsmanship.

Don't want to hear it from the Ronaldo fanboys tonight. He's been truly awful in the last 3 games.

He rolls back the ages occasionally (Juve 1st leg, Atleti 1st leg last season, Spain the other week) but for every one of them there's 10 dross games from him.

Messi's magical performances are more fleeting too now (Ecuador, Bernabeu hat-trick, Chelsea 2nd leg) but he still produces great moments most weeks.
