I also have no idea what is this guy good at.
More or less, this is a compilation of his good actions in any of the matches:

** I love when our fans say: we need to buy XX kid, he could be the next Gabriel Jesus.
Oh please, don't let any kid be the next Gabriel Jesus

Great one with the black screen :rofl1:

I agree with your overall sentiment, but he's been pretty good for City tbh. A young dude like that coming directly from Brazil and making his mark from the get-go is impressive.

Look at the conditions he plays in at City.... he’s started every game of the tournament and been poor. I don’t care what he does in the EPL, Firmino has been more effective while playing less. He deserves to start.

I won’t question Tite too much though. He’s lead us to this point.

thiago silva has been spearheading embarrassing CL exits for PSG for like 5 years now. LMAO not even good enough to clean godin's shoes.

If Thiago also started showing up in CL on a regular basis, then maybe.

Stop. The WC is biggest stage of football, and there is no comparison between the performances of Ramos, Pique, Boateng, Otamendi, Hummels and other top CB’s and those of O’Monstro. Only Uruguay’s pair have been as strong.

WC is the biggest stage, but 5 years or so of consistency in CL > one WC tournament, as far as proving who is quality or not.

He’s been the 3rd best so far, after Godin/Gimenez.

But then Brazil have played Switzerland/Costa Rica/Serbia/Mexico who you’d expect their defence to do well against.

The “best CB in the world” comment was just to try get reactions out of people on here.

Have you watched this tournament at all? Flippantly dismissing teams as if many of the favorites haven’t already been upset is silly. Spain, just yesterday, against Russia. How did world class CB’s in Ramos & Pique perform against a much weaker team?

I’ve always believed Thiago was best. I’ve repeated it here, r/soccer, discussions with my friends, etc.
