Spain are happy to have endless spells of possession without any real purpose. The few occasions they zipped it across the face of the box that caused trouble.

Difficult for the opponent to create much danger but at the same time aren’t creating much clear cut themselves. You could see the next game going to penalties had they got past Morocco.

Most teams would've struggled against this 11 behind the ball morroco. England were lucky enough to play a Senegal team that lost the ball high up and were punished for 2 or 3 of the goals. England do have the better front 3 though but still morroco would've made ir tough on them or france

England carry much more threat than Spain to a team sitting that deep.

They will be more direct, players that can strike a ball and much more physical presence in the box.

Maybe not only the fans, but also the coaches will finally understand that a team based on Busquets does not work, possession of the ball is not the main thing in modern football, and slow possession is killing you.

He isnt even helping with posession as hides from ball when even remotely tightly marked and makes it easier for opposition to stop and decent ball into and through midfield.

He was playing those players in those positions when you declared them one of best two at World Cup based on 'stats'.

Spain have not been good this WC at all bar Costa Rica a blind man could see that and what they were struggling to do.
