Start typing BBZ.

Who are we kidding, he's been typing since min 70.

It needs to sink in all of you guys.

1. Barca has 1 CL after Pep even though we had Messi, MSN and the most expensive players
2. Spain got past R16 only once since 2012'
3. Spain didn't win a single KO match in 90 minutes after 2012'
4. Spain has 2 wins in last 12 matches in 90 minutes, or 3 in 14.
Coincidence? Hardly, it is not 2012' anymore.
Football has moved on.
5. Pedri, Gavi, Busi managed to reach all time low at a club level with getting KOd in a group stage twice.
Now they are leaders for Spain.
Everything besides a KO in a group stage is a huge miracle for that trio
6. If Pedri and Gavi are our future, our future will more or less look like tonight's match
7. Spanish display was like having 10 off form Arthurs on a field. The most boring match ever.
But hey, it worked from 2008-2012, so why changing it? = because other teams have changed and evolved.
8. Mental strength, leaders? No comment
9. It will get even worse in the future because the opponents will neutralize them more and more easy. Morocco should have won even before pens.

I agree with you BBZ, it's just that you go overboard by going after Pep too because you also don't like the style itself, even when made to work like a well oiled machine.

It's not football has moved on, it's the players we had in the past have gotten older and/or retired.

If you could rejuvenate the 2011 team and bring it back now, they'd still make a fool out of the current teams. Nothing would be different. If anything, super-pragmatic defensive teams like 2010 Inter or 2012 Chelsea are not around. Closest to them is this washed up Atletico version who lose to likes of Brugges.

Right now, Pep's Barca could make a CL triple without much fuss.

Leave Pep Barca alone as a brilliant team, don't take digs on them with poor arguments, and you have a point.

You are by and large making up things to argue against..and dont have to 'break' anything to anyone as Barcas frailties have been discussed for years.

Their best forward is a man with 100 minutes in a season

Solid teams like Morocco have gone through plenty times during tournaments. Spain went out to Russia last time out with not too different side in terms of style. Not surprising they dont match up well in knockouts against these sides
A team is not the sum of discret single constituents .

Kudos to Pep

He managed to turn eternally losing style (Netherlands in 70s and Barca since 90s) into a beautiful style which was actually winning CLs.
But, he was lucky with Messi and Xaviesta.

And then he fooled millions of fans that it is THE SYSTEM.
It's not.
This system sucks.
You can win only if you are miles better than everyone else.

But Barca fans and Spanish fans haven't figured out yet and now due to Pep's trickery, they think they can replicate THE SYSTEM. Even with painfully average players like Pedri and Gavi.

So, again, kudos to Pep.

He didn't do that. Unfair to tie Pep to Barca past 2012.

It's the club's failure post Pep. Guardiola would have handled things very differently. In fact, he was most likely forced to leave (in comes JamDav) because he sensed the Amigo culture catching roots as early as 2012.

Netherlands in 70s was 'eternally losing style' what nonsense are you speaking now?

Pep wasnt 'lucky' none of those players won more before or after Pep. They were luckier he came along.

It is Peps system that works. Look at City dominating best league in world.

You again are making shit up as the vast majority of Barca fans have issues with way the team has played in recent years and it lacks many aspects that Peps teams do.

Kudos to Pep for being best coach in world and changing football.

No he was not forced to leave. Stop with this moronic claim.

Stop with this cliche you have heard from others of board wanting 'Laporta man out' when was not reality.

He left as had won all could win and did not have energy for it. There could be an element he did not want to rebuild and have to see off players that had won it all for him but that was not something board stopped him doing.

Yes he was. Pep is the type of manager that if you don't give him full power over the team, he will leave himself and make up a politically correct PR reason for it. Exactly how it happened.

Happened at Barca, happened at Bayern. Two of the most political clubs. At City he is allowed to be virtually a manager with no one above him sporting wise, and he's like a fish in water, stays for nearly a decade probably.
