To be fair, could not gauge their strength fully but for me there was a clear turning point I think during qualification games before the Copa. Saw a rejuvenated hard-working team, lot of movement with players with winning mentality going extra mile and supporting each other. In the beginning that would last one half, but over time they were able to go deeper into the game maintaining that high work-rate.
Very very true.
For me, I noticed that Scaloni's blueprint of hard working efforts during the friendly matches vs Brazil and Uruguay back in 2019. That was the turning point for me, but the quality of the defense still worried me a lot.
Now, the team looks more solid than ever and I've never seen an Arg NT that united than ever before since I first saw them in 2006. Excited to see how far this team can go.
