Playing on the counter usually works better in NT Football if you got the players for it.

France, Portugal and Germany(apart from Brazil game) didn't play all out attacking football trying to dominate possession

Yea, possession football works for NT when you have a big core from a single team, with well-set playing relation like Spain in 2008-12, when they were basically Barca without Messi and Alves, and with Casillas in goal.

It's why I think Mourinho can be a good NT Coach.

He's outdated as a club manager for a good team or any team aspiring to win or compete in the CL.

Yea, he should really make a move. Fewer games will do him good as well, he looks burned out for club football.

The national team was dominated by Barca players, but there where also 3 or so players from RM, and a couple from Valencia(and/or a few other clubs).

Yea, was basically Barca with some downgrades on some positions. Ramos RB instead of Alves, Villa instead of Messi and so on. Only Casillas was an upgrade over Valdes.
