After the first defeat, blessing in disguise, Argentina has found the winning formula, thanks to the inclusion of some players (Enzo, mcallister, alvarez) who have proved to be even more functional to the Argentine game system.
Often teams that have lost the first match have done well, because you have time to fix what's wrong, finding new solutions.
Scaloni in 2 years led the national team to win everything, building the perfect team around Messi, a team that supported him, making him support the team.
Messi played a World Cup with extraordinary intelligence, with and without the ball, making decisions that changed the course of matches. Coming to reach that category in which there are only other 2 other players: Pele' and Maradona (creating the new trinity of football).
With a cool head, the final was one of the most exciting matches ever seen. During which Argentina played beautiful football for 70 minutes: one of the best performances by a team in a World Cup final.
Then Mbapp? stepped up, probably the new strongest player in the world... we'll see where he gets.
but france more than an orchestra was a jumble of extraordinary soloists (the whole tournament)Argentina deservedly won.

Great to see his team mates celebrating with him although most of them were probably supporting Argentina for Messi anyway. Luckily we don't have any Frenchies in the team.

Really appreciate the choice of penalty takers by both Southgate and Deschamps.
Deschamps could have kept on Griezmann, Giroud etc but lost the match in 90, or he subbed them off and lost on penalties. Basically his only chance was to somehow win in ET.
