NO WAY!
He's a traiterous sob. He has no honour, no pride, no loyalty and no spine. In fact, he probably doesn't even understand what the words stand for. He's barely a man. A Barca fan joining Madrid, if there's a hell he's guaranteed a spot.

I love this Deco...Players with dreams who publicly declare them or make them open to the public do so with the knowledge that spurning them or going to the enemy is Figo-esque...So, yeah, straight to hell for all sell outs...But in all likelihood, he'll be shipped out from his current club before he gets to the greater depths of hell

Based on a sole evidence of some holiday photos of him on the yacht smoking with buddies I can say Messi is a smoker too. You have to be really delusional to think football players don't smoke when they're off on holidays.

You're delusional then to think that either what you saw constituted 'evidence' or that football players & holidays equates to cigarette smoking

I don't dislike Ozil, but he's a bit overrated.

This might not be a very popular view, but IMO other midfielders from the German golden generation like Muller, Kroos and Reus are better than him, and Goetze will be shortly as well (if he isn't already).

Not to mention that for all the Ozil hype since he joined Madrid, Di Maria has been a lot better than him despite flying under the radar.

Ozil is definitely a very good player, but I wouldn't put him in the top bracket of midfielders, he's not world class. So no, I don'ttthink we should buy him and I wouldn't like seeing him here.

He's a world class passer, and a quality footballer. If he sorts out his mental and physical issues he'll become great.

But he's more mouse than man. A disgrace to humankind.

Nah, the Bundesliga has long been my favorite league, it's nothing that has been developed recently.

And German are indeed going through a golden generation at the moment, the amount of young German talent is incredible, they should a top candidate for every major competition for many years to come.

They have not won a CL, or even a UEFA for ages.

Their NT is very good, but Spain's is better.

I'd agree that Spain are better, after all they were the only team standing in Germany's way in Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010. But Germany are definitely their closest rivals at the moment, and time seems to be on their side, as their side is considerably younger than Spain, who might face some issues with some of the key players losing a step in the near future. Not to mention striking woes for the Euro 2012 with Villa probably sidelined.
