Shameless

If we didn't have anything to play for. Why then start the amigos, instead of giving game time to youngsters.

He is quickly going from my favorite player ever, to my most hated coach.

Didn't see the game, but by the sound of it we threw this one away also? The previous game was clearly fixed in order for Getafe to not get relegated.

An overexcited youngster might have derailed 'the plan' . Otherwise can't think of a reason not to play them this game.

I remember under Tata Martino we had a 4-0 win away but less possession. Xavi became apoplectic and demanded we play the Barca way again. Press went in a rant about losing our identity. Tata list his nerve and we lost our way. Until that point we had been playing pretty well. Not champagne football but good football. It just shows that our legends just hold too much sway in the dressing room and it really undermines coaches and other players. Look at how Perez deals with RM legends. When they are no longer useful or make too much noise they are booted out. We are constantly humiliated and yet our board and manager still are unable to confront amigos.

Well he will have a #XaviOut contingent at the beginning of next season. Honeymoon is over and now he will have his transfers. So he will be raked to the fire.

I don't understand players as well. They started attacking the box, creating chances, beat RM with ease and reduced back to same old slow, static, without movement football in which we not only lose but don't even create many chances.

Like Givenchy said, I think the biggest issue is that we don't seem to value anything which would make us better in Europe. Sell Frenkie, keep old Busi forever. It just makes more problems.

Because one thing is for sure, Frenkie was pretty much only one from our midfield who was quick, strong and fast enough Vs team like Frankfurt in the freaking Europe League. Pedri struggled with their speed, Gavi is too small for now, Busi is a dinosaur..

And then we wonder why we get run over? We have no player with any sort of physicality in the midfield and opponents run us over.

Brain or skills won't win Vs muscle if you are slow as ****.

We have been repeating this failing recipe for years now and it seems like it's a curse world in Barca world.. having modern team with modern players. We are trying to play ancient football to win in 2022.

For example Barca should change:

Quick, fast, strong CBs. Absolutely crucial for playing high line.
LB and RB, they need to be the quickest players of the team basically. Player who can challenge too, win some 1vs1.
Midfield, we need to have one evil Casemiro/Kante, insanely hard working destroyer or recovery machine like Kante. More balls to midfield and speed.
Wingers, they need to be able to challenge 1vs1, cross, cut into middle and score a goal. They also need to have speed to cause trouble in counters.

Striker can be slower (Lewa) if rest of the team is quick/fast but even then I would prefer quicker guy who can also hurt in counters.

Overall though, having those physical qualities would make us way harder to play Vs AND we wouldn't be forced to just play one tactic to win. We could also sit back and kill opponent in counter.

Start cleaning by throwing out anyone who is too slow, not skilled enough, don't have legs for it etc.

Our success in Europe and Vs top teams of PL/Germany would improve over night.

Those who understand football well, they enjoy the game of Busquets. And we, ordinary fans, are suffering. Questions arise for Xavi. If it's so easy to concede goals, you won't win anything. It's been like this for the last 7 years. There is no protection. But now the team cannot even score. We are too easy and simple team for any opponent and they play the same against us. It is no longer the fault of the players, but the direct work of the coach, to put on competitive football with the right players. It looks like there will be hard times. For mentioning the DNA of Barcelona, the coaches should be fired immediately. Attacking football, yes, great, useless possession of the ball, is meaningless and only leads to defeat.

If Kessie is indeed a Xavi pick, then it is a sign of the right direction.

He could have opted for Cesc or Javi Martinez!

We still got lucky in one way that Mbappe did not join Real Madrid. It would have been one horse run for years.

Yeah but they are still the better team even without him and now Madrid have loads of cash to spend for other players.
