Should have rotated against United. Can't be facing Almeria with the likes of Raphina and Araujo on the bench.

We seem to have a tougher schedule than Real Madrid, but they might not prioritize the league that much if they get to the SF in the CL.

Next three games will be huge for the title race. If they close the gap more before our game in three weeks our season could collapse.

Only positive note is Real never seems to play with any consistency themselves when they're defending a league title. They'll still be dropping points along the way too.

Hope we don't bottle it because that would be disastrous but at least we'll get rid of him in the summer if that were the case.

Imagine we win the league and we give Xavi more signings. Now that could potentially be even more disastrous lol

Can see us blowing the league. Assuming he's fired this summer or next when we fail in Europe again, what are the options? The club gambled so much to give him these resources that are failing. Cules should accept that the club is going to be a Valencia or Sevilla (maybe not as bad as they each are this season)level for the foreseeable future. I'm not feeling any hope.

Bottling the league would be disastrous for the club at every level. Even if Xavi isn't the solution you gotta hope they still seal the title whilst working towards a possible replacement *if* they have a clear upgrade available, and if not, have the foresight to make the right signings and sales and not give in to whatever Xavi wants.

Shouldn't let this end up like Koeman where it was getting obvious we needed something better but Laporta kept waffling the entire summer only to hire Xavi mid-season.

They sense blood better than any other team in the world.

As soon as it becomes clear they can win the league they will take it.

Bottling the league would be an absolute disaster no matter how you look at it. It would truly be another embarrassment in the long list of it. Also El Gato and Morten would be having a field day the whole summer here

I doubt it, now they know that league is within reach they will try harder

It's not exactly in their reach though, it's 1 point less from prior to the round of fixtures. They last defended a title back in 2007 and are definitely not consistent enough to not drop points too.
