You're welcome
People also often forget that he is a very young manager. He is also developing as a manager, like the youngsters are developing as players.

With the club unable to sign an elite manager, what else is there better than trusting your own legend, to grow into a top manager, after he already proved himself as a Spanish champion?
You’re trying to spin a downside of xavi as a selling point. A bit of a fallacy on your end.

I am fine with xavi staying on though.

Laporta has convinced Xavi. He's staying!

BREAKING: If Xavi decides to stay at FC Barcelona, he wants signings this summer to compete for every title and not rely on youngsters so much. He wants guarantees from the club & his two priorities are: • Bernardo Silva • Joshua Kimmich or Martin Zubimendi. [@ffpolo]

So he wants us to spend 80 to 90 million on two players when we are stone cold broke?
Unless we win CL AND get that big Puma contract, I don't see it happening.

Xavi should stay for the sake of the youngsters he developed so much. Carry on the work he put in, in these few years. But I understand him if he gets a good offer and decides to leave.

The team could turn out great in the next few years. These youngsters became Spanish champions under him and now are fighting for entering Europe's elite, which is unusual for a team with so many youngsters in prominent roles. In the next years, with proper management, they are gonna get even better.

New stadium also... many things to look forward to. You can't compare playing on Camp Nou with Montjuic.

I'm still okay with him leaving. He clearly showed he isn't Guardiola 2.0. He has some good things going for him and some bad things. He develops the youth, he wants to play in a dominant and attractive way, he improved the overall stamina of the team, so we started to turn games around.
But the injuries keep piling up, he doesn't use the strengths of many players, his useless brother has this job only thanks to his family status, he showed weaknesses in big/ knock out games, he doesn't control himself on the sidelines, which is getting embarassing for the club and he unprofessionally announced his departure after getting humiliated by Villareal.

I see why Laporta wants to keep him another season. Mainly it's because the club has no money. A decent coach will bring a big team and they all want money, while Xavi never asked for a big salary understanding the club's position and Laporta wants to invest every Euro he has into new players, not coaching staff.

See, there you have it. The top managers already have better positions. They won't come to manage budget Barca under the instant pressure of results and titles. The definition of a big risk job. Only young managers, managers with problems and managers that are unemployed would take on the position.

Doubt it. He is gonna leave imo. Hard to keep improving the team past what he already achieved with it on low budget. He wants to fight vs the top EPL sides, Madrid, PSG, etc, with similar conditions, with equal chances. Let the management make the difference.

LMAOL

That's your new line now?

It's only idiotic to say that. Most top managers dream of Barca because of history, prestige, culture etc
Budget is never the most important thing. The project is!
Especially the lure to coach and develop such wonderful talents (Pedri, Yamal, Cubarsi, etc) is strong

Where Barca is lacking now is that we have a circus running the football club, not a proper organization with clear structure and departments (like other top clubs) that coaches look to

Those sides wont hire him on what hes shown already. He needs to show more to be hired by another top side, the reason we hired him is his history as a Barca player.
