I love him and he is clearly better than Iniesta at the moment but he and Neymar failed to put pressure on Van der Wiel and that is the only reason why the latter could shoot from that range. He doesn't have the legs to put pressure on players anymore, that is simply a trade off when Xavi plays nowadays and I reckon that is the reason why Iniesta starts in front of him in every big game.

Neymar can be sometimes awful defensively. I do also believe that this is the only reason why Iniesta starts, but I can give you at least 5 reasons why Xavi should start. And Neymar, instead of whining like a child who lost his toy, should show that he has the legs to always play 90 minutes.

Another suggestion woul be to make Suarez and Neymar switch positions. I am very confident that Suarez would be excellent on the left wing. Neymar in the middle... well I have more doubts

Would be a waste of Suarez. Neymar in the middle will be marginally better than Neymar on the Left wing, but won't be able to do Suarez' beastly job harrassing the CBs.

I believe it would rather be a waste of Neymar. Suarez was great on the right wing when he started to play. But I agree that this is too risky for the moment, we shall better stay with the classic MSN formation.

Neymar will still get in goal scoring positions and would be able to link up more with Messi on the RW, but won't be able to do the job Suarez does as a CF.

Oh man how I'm gonna miss him....

As soon as he came into the field vs Psg and Real , I knew everything was going to be fine.

He's not past it or stuff like that , he could still play vs smaller teams and be a verry good super sub if we lead against a big team and need to calm things down in the midfield.

He can't start though, atleast not in big games as evidenced today. The game passed him by and he couldn't perform iniesta/rakitic's defensive duties. With busi in dm he was able to play his passing game a little more though. I think he should be used as he is now as a relief midfielder to end off games.
