Why the fuck do we want to spend those absurd amounts for Foyth lol. 30m get outta here. Buying shite as if money grows under Laporta's belly.

Villarreal will probably lose Pau this summer, they might play hardball when it comes to Foyth, as I doubt they will let go two their best 2 defenders easily.

We want Foyth because he fits into the model of Xavi's system, defensive FB who doesn't overlap and can give protection on the right flank because Dembele doesn't really need a fullback with him to create (another reason Dembele is so good).

But no point buying him when we already have Kounde playing a similar role there if that is what he is looking for, unless we want to bench Christensen and move Kounde back to CB.

He was awful against Vinicius.
Suffers from wanting to always tackle/shove/jump towards everything and loses many 1-1 situations.
He is not ideal, but for the price reported it's even worse than that: it's suicidal to go for him

Foyth is potentially a top class player. He was a monster vs Bayern in CL last season. Considering the money Villareal ask for him he may or not pan out, but certainly a promising player imo.
