Yaya and Busquets provide two entirely different things, they just happen to do it from a similar position on the field. And my point still stands that we need another DM and don't have any appropriate options available.

Yep, as much as I love Yaya I also admit that Sergi has been great for a lot of this season, although I think he's had his share of bad games that went overlooked while every mediocre performance by Yaya was hailed as an utter disaster.

but we can't live in the past. he's not as good as he was then, his agent is even more annoying, and there's a chance we could use him to lower cesc's price.

we will need to sign a DM, or convert one of CB's into a DM.

just bring in an established DM, lorik cana who's impressed for both club and country,makoun someone with international experience or tymoschuk great leadership, great positional awareness. There's a whole market full of talented DM's, even DM's from big clubs could be lured in my view. Yaya's been great, I wouldn't sell him but that seems to be the direction we're heading to.

Well, he'd have more freedom to pass which is by far his strong point, but he's way too slow for the CB position, I don't see how giving him a significantly larger area to cover in the middle of the field would help improve our situation.

Well we wouldn't at least have to watch him helplessly chasing through balls as much...that's his main weak point in my opinion, otherwise he's not that bad at defending and is a good passer as well, so why not play him in the midfield? But that's for Pep to decide

Busquet has been good all season? what? TBH he's one of the main reason why we lost at Inter..he kept losing the ball..also when we played arsenal he lost the ball..He's not confident on the ball..Imagine if it was Yaya that played all season..there would've been a lot of difference..If we lose Yaya i will be very angry..Barca aren't cheap so why couldn't they pay him..I mean it was part of his contract that the more he plays the more bonuses he gets..They agreed on it but now why don't they want to fulfill it..i say get rid of busquet and bring in Fabregas...TBH Busquet is no better than Denilson for Arsenal..

What i'm saying is Busquet is an ordinary player, he's not a WOW player..If you take Busquet to an ordinary team you'll see that he's not a difference maker....He's good b/c he plays along side xavi, when we encounter physical teams busquet would be useless as we could see..people saying they want replacement..we can't get any good ones b/c there aren't a lot of good DM out their. if they want to sell him cuz of his bonuses then that's stupid..If u don't see it the way i see it then forget bout it

You don't need all 11 players to be WOW players. It won't work my friend, Busquets is very effective for what he does for the team and certainly better than Yaya at the moment.
