Yusuf Demir

He had a few other nice actions than the shot today.
He is clearly playing above his level though, he can't handle the tempo and the 1v1s. Might become pretty good, and might play very well sooner than some here think if the rest of the team starts to function much better.

I don't think we should buy him for 10mil. Should stay away from his profile of players. He is this slow now, who knows how slow he will be in 5 years. Less of these Coutinho CAM/winger hybrids please.

Yeah.

Those 10 millions better spent elsewhere.

He won?t make it. He got his big chance today because Xavi needed to put someone at the wing at the start and he blew it.
He had this one excellent shot but that was it. He is dead slow and couldn?t get past a defender if his life depended on it.

No speed, no acceleration, no strength like Gavi, no right foot to cross.

can only cut inside. Maybe poor man's Trincao.

One of those weird performances.
Our best 2 chances when he was on pitch came from him, those 2 attempts were classy, reminded me of Salah in his early day (was abusing those shots back then  )
But he was bad otherwise tbh, wasn't even a reliable player to pass the ball or take on his man

He is bad. Really bad.

He needs a lot of physical training before he plays at this level. He was very easily pushed around and he can't make any dribbles, because he can't get past any player.

Don't buy. He ain't ready.

He was benched in the Austrian league. And half of the teams in that league are First RFEF level. A prospect who again, should have played for the B team to assess his potential and develop his skills.

There's a reason he came here with a buy option of 10m, if he was a highly demanded surefire talent they wouldn't accept a non obligatory buy option. Now when he hasn't impressed for us we'll send him back and the other top teams won't be attracted to him after seeing his time here.

He's a punt who so far isn't working out.

Do the rules allow him to be registered as a B team player this January market?

If he is sticking as AMR though and not attempted to be converted to a midfielder than his minutes there won't be guaranteed either. He would be competing with Abde and Ilias who both Sergi and Xavi have shown in a small sample size that they will start over Demir.

Still, there is something unpolished in him. I would not rule out if we negotiate to extend the loan period for Demir for another season with Rapid while maintaining the buy option.
