You can when you're deadset on the one striker in a 4-3-3 that you unequivocally will NOT sub out.

I imagine what will happen if he stays is he'll play Jović, but will throw him into the secondary lineup once or twice, sub him out at 60-70 and not play him very often again in normal conditions.

Difficult to be optimistic when you see this shit happen for years with Zidane and Benzema.
