Guy is aging like fine wine though. He is better in my opinion now then ever.

United can only dream of signing him if they get into CL though.

Ulf Karlsson (former coach/manager for Swedish athlete national team) who attended a meeting at a café in Värmland (landscape in Sweden) to discuss about doping with Stefan Holm and Bengt-Åke Gustafsson. Ulf believe that Zlatan was doped at his Juventus sejour.

Zlatan put on 10 kilograms in only six months during his time at Juventus. I think he doped, at least this is what I believe.

He says doping is common in team sports

They are more liberating from tests compared to athletics. Zlatan went up 10 kilograms within six months at Juventus. It's impossible to achive that in short of time. Albin Ekdal (an another Swedish player) also put on eight kilograms of weight during his period with Juventus as well. I think this is a culture that exists at Juventus. They had a doctor who had previously been convicted for 22 months.

He continued to talk about the doping

A big problem with doping is that when there's a culture about this, it'll live on. Like in Russia and in Finland where the latter's army had a storage with Methamphetamine and it was split up between the finnish defence forces and the sports movement after World War II.

Later on, an another Swedish Newspaper (Sportbladet) talked to him during the Monday morning this week.

Rough & freely translation of this

Is this something you have thought about for a long time?

No. We had a panel discussion regarding all the negative aspects within the sports and doping and we highlighted about what happened at Juventus in the early 2000s.

It's pretty serious accusations.

It's not an accusation at all and it's not directed against Zlatan. What I'm saying is that no one can go up 10 kilograms within 6 months. We were talking about the situation at Juventus and mentioned Zlatan because he is such a big star. Whatever it's Zlatan or anyone else, it doesn't matter. It's physiologically impossible to go up so much weight in such a short time.

But is it right to mention Zlatan when he has never been tested positive for doping?

Zlatan was just as an example because it was mentioned in the media about what happened at Juventus. It's the kind of thing I read thorugh the news, things that are common knowledge. Then there's a opportunity to speculate about it. Juventus had a doctor (Riccardo Agricola) who was sentenced to 22 months in prison.

But he was cleared...

Yeah, yeah, I'm not really familiar with it, I only know that players were found guilty of doping during that period.

How do you think Zlatan will feel when he read about this?

It's not my job to think of it. I talked about a general situation at Juventus. I have nothing to be worried about. It's a shame if he takes it as a personal accusation. The topic was more about doping in team sports.

With all the attention already followed, do you regret that you named Zlatan?

I could have figured it out, it was a bit by me. I regret of course that this resurrection has occurred, but I ttand still my opinion about the weight gain.

How can you even say somebody used doping without any evidence? Ridiculous. "I think so because he gained weight". Lol. Are this the criteria to accuse someone nowadays?

I laugh whenever I hear doping and football mentioned hand in hand. They all have such skinny, toned upper bodies. Where the hell does the steroid use go? Glutes? Even Ronaldo is ripped but skinny...and that's normal for someone who runs daily for a sport and does any kind of strength training.

Unless they consider a large list of regular supplements like creatine, which I don't know why theyd use it, illegal.

Not everything is used to gain muscles. It's also used to enhance performance, stamina etc. I trained football for a short time and even my coach admitted they were forced to take performance enhancing drugs to play better.
