Yeah true, I guess that is what they are doing quite often so the defensive hybrid player can tuck in and make a three while the natural full-back adds to the attack.I think that's the trend. Have one FB/CB hybrid and one true FB, so the true FB can play higher.
What I don't understand is why the teams always play those 2 on the same sides. If you switch them around from time to time, you could cause some serious problems.
Good point about switching them around - it would make them more unpredictable. Could even do it within games with the 5 subs rule - could seriously unbalance or confuse some opponents.
