    Xavi Hernández

I think Xavi does try to implement it at times and you can see how obsessed he is with "positional play", that's the problem, it almost seems like players are just cones at times and brick walls that pass off each other. He doesn't know how to coach a possession focused system but tries to. And...

Interviewer : What are your thoughts on Deco's words on the change of style? (Deco said in a interview that the club needed a new vision and model for the future) Xavi: "Where did he say that? He doesn't say that to me. He tells me that he believes in the Barça DNA and style. I can't say...

    Liga Round 23: Barca - Granada 3-3

Serghei confused why Xavi would be sacked... incredible.

    Liga Round 23: Barca - Granada 3-3

He's a kid. He's not ready to be a starter. Not his fault he is being thrown in the deep.

    Liga Round 23: Barca - Granada 3-3

Granada have 5 goals against us this season and the games not even over yet. Utterly dismal stuff. Not sure why he is staying till the end of the season as we are even risking top4 if he continues. Laporta is bending over to his attempt to take a moral victory or try and buy himself time instead...

And for sure soon he will start whining about how the club didn't get him the right transfers and didn't back him up and his fans will claim the same thing.

Tuchel is incredibly overrated based on winning CL with Chelsea. Good manager but other than that his body of work is not crazy.

    La Liga 23/24

If Xavi is managing, beating them becomes an insurmountable task... if not, then "seasons are unpredictable" even if they add Bellingham and Mbappe since last season. It is too obvious you are preparing arguments to trash the next coach and strengthen the pro-Xavi argument. For that, I say...

    La Liga 23/24

Trashing Liverpool and Chelsea at that point wasnt that big of a deal.

    La Liga 23/24

If any club can do it, its unfortunately Madrid. Madrid is bigger than any player and that is why they have been this successful. They dont tolerate that nonsense like was happening at PSG with Mbappe.

    La Liga 23/24

That wasn't last season. Last season they lost league easily and got smoked by City.

    La Liga 23/24

Madrid with Bellingham Mbappe and Vinicius will actually be better than us for some time now... not the weak Madrid of recent times. @serghei We are looking at you... dont try and compare them !

Vitor Roque (loaned to Real Betis)

I know people will be mad about this but its very very rare for any cards to be overturned in cases other than mistaken identity or where they literally just did not see something. If the referee made a decision on a play they will basically never overturn it no matter which club it is.

    Let's talk about Xavi's replacement (2024)

De Zerbi is a risk but it does not seem either like the club has many options. For those who like Tuchel, he might be sacked at the end of the season, and said something about wanting to come to Spain, so its possible he wants the job. Never been down my street but I would imagine he is a...

With what though? You need to compare their lineups now to the lineups that were winning the league before.

The best. Inter's football is probably the most aesthetic of any team in the top5 leagues. Go on Serie A Youtube channel and watch some of their highlights, basically all their goals come after long passing sequences, lots of tactical features like overloads, switches, interchanging positions...

    Xavi Hernández

I don't know if he'd accept, but if we could get him, we should go all in for Simone Inzaghi. Definitely the best Italian manager in football and imo the next managerial giant after Pep and Klopp. It's absolutely insane what he has done with little resources and an aging, average team, imagine...

Juve are crumbling because Inter is managed by Inzaghi. What a manager.

    Xavi Hernández

He talks like he's still the long term manager rather than leaving in a few months. Call me crazy but I think if results go well from here he is going to attempt to stay/reverse his decision.

    Xavi Hernández

Yes, look at the offseason of 2021 and what happened after that on Transfermarkt, their board started a demolition of their squad because the team was in huge debt, continued even last season where multiple important players were lost (Onana, Skriniar, Brozovic etc.) Thats why what he's doing...
