    João Félix

News that we are trying to sign him and Cancelo permanently. Terrible decision, Felix clearly isn't up to regularly starting at a top club and we certainly don't have money to waste on him whilst we have no DM.

    Xavi Hernández

Inter are the ones actually massively overachieving, they have a negative net spend under their current manager and nobody in their team cost serious money except for Lautaro Martinez. In spite of this they're probably the best performing team in Europe right now (40 GD at the midpoint of the...

Massive overachievement? Really? How do you come to that conclusion?

    Xavi Hernández

Thats the question. Do you trust him to make the situation right and do you think that title is an indicator of his potential? I don't, that's the problem for me, I don't think it would improve if we gave him a lot of time because I don't believe in his ability right now. Cracking under the...

United isnt a much better team than us as is being shown.. they haven't competed for their league title in like a decade... the reality is they aren't a top club anymore and will require a lot of work to get back to that level. Ten Hag will likely be sacked at the end of the season if results...

The first thing will be to improve on being 10 points behind and out of every cup competition by February.

    Xavi Hernández

You say 'driven away by problems' as if it was his choice to leave and the mess of the club is why he's going. Reality is he was due to be sacked for bad results and devised this plan to leave at the end of the season to take a moral victory.

    Xavi Hernández

Why would anyone planning to leave sign an extension... if that's true then he manipulated the club. Makes no sense and just seems like him throwing a hissy fit over believing his talents aren't being recognised.

    Xavi Hernández

It probably wasn't planned. This seems like more of a 'you aren't firing me, I quit!' type of thing. He wants to take the moral victory and try to leave on his own terms rather than being inevitably fired as results continue to nosedive. Probably sees himself as too good to be fired and bitter...

    Xavi Hernández

All the media really do is praise him anyway. Hardly seen any journalists that have been consistently critical of him except the Barto aligned ones. It seems like he thinks he should face no criticism at all and been doing an amazing job.

    Xavi Hernández

Let's see. It probably depends how this season goes. He has built a lot there, but I can also see him being attracted to Barcelona, given his footballing history, and the young talent and prestige of this club.

We will see an instant improvement once MATS comes back. Pena been truly horrible in the past games. Having a bad defense is unworkable with him in goal, most shots are goals.

Arteta is planning to leave Arsenal at the end of the season apparently. Looks like there is indeed a lot of managerial talent available this off-season. We should make an evaluation on him.

    Xavi Hernández

Its good... but also had a epic failure in being grouped from CL then instantly being knocked out of EL... then losing 4-0 to Madrid in the Copa. Those other competitions do count as well and in general he's been very poor in all cup competitions. Overall his time here was decent given it ended...

And got 78 points? Not sure Madrid was so great last season. It seems like the bigger difference this season is them improving so much.

The one true goat INIESTAGOAT To be honest, he has already proven his ball knowledge. We need to trust his future takes

    Xavi Hernández

I think Xavi sunk his project by believing Romeu could be the successor to Busquets. Other bad decisions were relying on Raphinha as the Dembele replacement, bringing in Joao Felix and continuing to play Kounde at RB. Our squad planning has played a major part in our poor start to this season.

    Xavi Hernández

He still could be, if top4 becomes at risk. Let's see but we may do better now the players know he's leaving and there is no real pressure to win anything this season anymore.

    Xavi Hernández

You make a good point. We dont have the materials to be the best team in the world anymore. Part of that, however, is caused by bad transfer decisions, and we have lost a lot of money due to so many early knockouts under Xavi.

    13 - Iñaki Peña

Maybe we should give a go to Astralaga or Kochen. I don't think anyone can be worse than Pena at the moment.
