Remarkable how Rams called straight man coverage 2 tds up 4 minutes left. Leaving a WR like Evans 1v1 at that point in the game... Just come out in soft defense and let them get 5-10 yards a pop. Taking a gamble like that with that great position in the game, almost like this is scripted LOL

    Barca Transfers and Rumors

Agree with everything said here but don't agree we should go for expensive 'bets' like Noa Lang. I think to re-establish ourselves we need proven names that can slot in straight away and be key for the moment.

    FC Barcelona Finances

Yeah we should not tar the history and reputation of this club by becoming a sponsor for the CCP. Spotify sounds good, could probably offer a lot and their logo would make the kit look nice.

Does the company in question have any links to the Israeli government/IDF? Have they publicly supported them or do they operate in illegal settlements? There are dozens of countries who's governments do absolutely terrible things but assuming all civilians or businesses of said countries are...

    10 - Ansu Fati

'Barcelona are advising Ansu to agree to an operation on his injury, which would mean that his time-off would be 3 months. Player has to decide soon.' So it could be 4-5 months by the sound of it, given that you can add a month on whatever seems to be the 'expected' recovery time in Barca these...

    Xavi Hernández

Except Pedri in that list of 'highest level proven players' how have any of those guys proven themselves @ highest level? Garcia? Hell he's barely played a few dozen pro games. Same for Gavi, Fati. Except Pedri and Araujo those guys haven't played enough to gauge their game yet.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Legal action goes a bit further than just taking the word of the employer, lol.. And anyways it is not desirable to continue to pay his wage whilst he sits in the stands. No point of that in the slightest except for getting some kind of 'revenge' on him which a club like Barca should be above.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Sending players to the stands for not renewing is not good practise and very likely could have legal implications. Spanish PFA warned us about that and said we could face legal action if we put him in the stands for 6 months. If he won't stay sell or terminate rather than keep him in the stands.

    Ousmane Dembélé

The thing is, we may never know the truth about what Dembele and his agent actually demanded. I don't like that he said he lets his agent handle his negotiations because he is the one signing the contract, he should be telling his agent what to do and dictating the terms. But what the club...

    Ousmane Dembélé

Not from our current position (should've clarified) but we should be playing like a top team atleast. If a top manager had come in the summer we certainly could

    Xavi Hernández

Not from now (should've clarified), but in terms of performance, we should be playing like a top team in the league. Grinding out wins against lower teams and never getting wins against any top team does not reflect the talent we have. Now we sorted out our locker room issues we should perform...

    Ousmane Dembélé

We have recently started a frontline of Ilias-LDJ-Jutgla. That is literally a frontline you'd expect to see from Alcorcon, not Barca. We don't have options and we will surely have more injuries to the frontline when all of them are injury prone and are playing so many minutes.

A player has the right to reject an offer of another club if they don't like it too.

    Xavi Hernández

Win the league? We could with a top manager, if they had come at the start of the season*. Pedri, Ansu, Araujo, FDJ, Ferran, Dembele, etc. Plenty of top talent there other LaLiga teams would dream of having themselves. When squad is fit, it isn't impossible. And youth like Abde Gavi Nico etc...

    Xavi Hernández

The squad currently when fit is more than good enough to get top4. That is minimum expectation especially given we just shelled out for Ferran for Xavi. The atmosphere looks to be sorting out so now we need to deliver on the field.

    Ousmane Dembélé

If he is put in the stands, he will surely be reinstated after the transfer window close. Unless Laporta wants to see more of Jutgla Ilias and LDJ up front.

    Xavi Hernández

I think the biggest thing is even if FDJ isn't that smooth with the ball his defensive work, stamina and energy is much more important to shield the defense

    Xavi Hernández

It's not about if Ten Hag thinks FDJ is exactly suited to DM, it's about we have a massive liability there that needs to be replaced now and even if not his natural role FDJ can fill in there.

    Nico Gonzalez

We are offering him something he won't get elsewhere here. Which is regular playing time at a high level and in Europe. At City he will probably be loaned out for a few seasons and most likely will never make it to their first team. Here he has a clear development path. Up to him.

Ever heard the saying don't believe everything you read? Especially on the issue of renewals we can't take some Catalan mouthpiece journalists as reliable.
