Sending players to the stands for not renewing is not good practise and very likely could have legal implications. Spanish PFA warned us about that and said we could face legal action if we put him in the stands for 6 months.

Dembele is nowhere near the magnitude of Mbappe, nor he has the staff to advice him. He had that potential, though, but blew it with all the injuries.

By now we all know Dembele's two moves - to kick the ball front with speed, then cross near the goal line inside and the other - to dribble from wing to middle if there is opening for a shot. His game is not that complex, but his speed makes it look that way.

Legal action goes a bit further than just taking the word of the employer, lol..

And anyways it is not desirable to continue to pay his wage whilst he sits in the stands. No point of that in the slightest except for getting some kind of 'revenge' on him which a club like Barca should be above.
