    Yusuf Demir

Good point. Hard to be thrown into Barca's first-team with barely any pro experience and moving abroad at 18. Which is again why we got that Barca B pipeline.

    3 - Alejandro Balde

Agree, Gavi had some great moments right after I posted that. That assist was impressive. Started badly but in games like this you have to keep pushing and trying n so who can provide that moment of class to break the deadlock? It was him today with a great final ball. Agree on Balde too that...

    Yusuf Demir

Really if you can't do it against Granada who didn't press at all and sat back you probably won't do it against good teams who are pressing hard and who will punish you for losing the ball, as we saw against Bayern, where his one mistake lead to a goal up the other end. In games like these that...

    Yusuf Demir

Neither did I, but I couldn't help but see that in how many times he touched the ball and in dangerous areas too he couldn't get past his man once. He clearly isn't ready yet, Balde/Gavi despite them needing adaptation are looking more up to the pace.

    Yusuf Demir

As a winger just doesn't work, no. Dozens of times took the ball, tried to get round his man, couldn't, and dribbled backwards and laid off the ball over and over again to someone else. And when he was passed the ball in dangerous areas he was either tackled or fell over. Looking like a pure...

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

When Ansu and Dembele come back in for Demir and Coutinho in the front 3 I can already tell we will notice a world of difference against teams like Granada. Not easy still, but we'll look much better. The other test is against high-pressing teams which we can't seem to beat these days either.

That's how you break down narrow deep blocks. It takes very good and quick players to slice them open through passing and we don't have that, the most common and accepted way is to use every bit of grass, and stretch their defense out with wide play and crosses.

    6 - Gavi

Actually was subbed on in Coutinho's spot and despite having a bad start as I commented earlier towards the end started to take risks and try key passes, unlike Demir who was dribbling aimlessly around the field the whole game. Impressed. Nobody else played a good ball in 90 minutes and he did.

    4 - Ronald Araújo

Spends too much time in the weight room according to some on here. Or maybe he is one of our only players who seems to understand how important athleticism is in today's game.

    6 - Gavi

Good assist for Araujo's tying goal.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

    Araujo is our best striker.

    3 - Alejandro Balde

Only youngster today again who I saw positives from. Demir awful & provided nothing and all Gavi has done is lose the ball. Balde missed a lot of crosses but could at least beat his man and provide threat.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

I hate to say it but Demir is being shown up by Granada's defenders. Is this the player who Koeman is meant to give 2000 minutes a season? Horrible squad planning

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Watching Demir as a winger hurts my eyes. Every time he picks up the ball he tries to beat his man down the right hand side and can't so has to turn around and dribble back into the middle of the pitch.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Basically we forced players that totally don't suit a 4-3-3 into a 4-3-3 today and you are seeing the results with us being stifled at source very easily. There is no available personnel for this game unfortunately, so tough decision to make.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Cou-Depay-Demir is more sellable as a midfield trio than as a front 3. Cou and Demir both cut in every time they get the ball and aren't fast enough to take on their man down the line. So they just walk into Granada's deep block and they are happy to sit back narrow as I said.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

We can keep saying koeman koeman koeman all we want but he did what Twitter wanted and played Demir and Balde. No dice. No matter who the coach is with this squad that is not only low-quality but poorly filled out, with a very small range of profiles, u won't get anywhere and for the people...

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

In that he's managing to get down the wing and at least pose a threat, right now I see nothing from any of the team who are just dribbling around and passing until their passes get cut out, we need directness and width to breach that block

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Balde a bright spot for me even with how shit we're playing, his crosses are bad but he's getting into dangerous positions and managing to breach their deep block on the wing
