La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Granada happy to sit back and watch Demir and Coutinho and Depay dribble whilst they cut out or intercept everything. We need some pace and width but we don't have it in the 11 or the bench

Funny but this team needs Dembele back

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

The most concerning thing is most of the time when a talented team loses to a less talented one you can see the more talented team is better, they just need to put it together. Here Granada actually look like a better outfit than us, sitting back and deadly on the break.

My preference 4-2-3-1 ------MATS--------- Dest-Araujo-Pique-Balde ---Roberto-FDJ----- Demir--Pedri--Coutinho ------Depay------- If we are going to play so narrow might as well with a formation that suits it and 2 pivots. Obviously the team hasn't trained any other than 352 and 433 tho.

Never said there was a great alternative, just noting it.

La Liga | Round 4: FC Barcelona - Granada 1-1

Demir and Cou are both 'wide midfielders' in that they love to cut in and basically never go down the wing so there is no width. Bad front 3.

    Alex Collado

Something PL clubs do with their youth is even if they don't think they have much of a shot for the first-team they'll play them in the cup, some easy league games and easy European games to get their value up and then sell them for an easy 10-15m. Moriba is a great example of it (not that we...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

PSG this year was a project doomed to fail. You can't have 3 massive superstars on one front-line that all need the ball 99% of the time and that have superstar personalities, it just won't work. Chelsea were so successful because their team is so balanced and everyone has their role, it works...

    Alex Collado

Toni Juanmarti totally contradicts what Maria Garridos said and says that an exit for Collado will be sought in January (wtf?) Albert Roge (reliable reporter of Barca B) says the club considers him a key part of it's future. Sounds funny for a player they couldn't be bothered to register lol...

    Alex Collado

Well there are 2 points here for me. 1 that we should not be so incompetent when dealing with contracts and players, and 2 that Collado is a player who potentially could have a lot of sale value after a year with the first-team. No need for this to happen.

    Alex Collado

Wasn't his agents, it was Alemany and co bothering with the Griezmann deal, but alas, absolutely no excuse as Pjanic/Manaj who were due to leave were both registered before a move was found for them. If you are letting a loan deal happen in the last minutes before the transfer window closed...

Laporta really is teflon isn't he? Fanbase on twitter going crazy against koeman

    Alex Collado

Btw, much could have been done to accommodate him. Not only has number 25 been open this entire time, but it also wasn't hindered by Emerson/Griezmann potentially staying as players like Demir/Mingueza could have been given a subsidiary file, as Collado could also have been given, if we needed...
