We need a goal out of nothing. With Gavi and Pedri out, I just don't see any goals coming from structural play or midfield progression. A random lose ball, a snap shot, something like that. We need him to step up and give us something like that.

I'm right next to the touchline down this left flank. Wan bissaka is leaving Alba tonnes of space. Doesn't seem like he's too worried about alba receiving and running past. Rightly so. Balde would tear down this flank if given so much space.

This guy has always been class. Great stamina and running, good ball control, the odd good asssist, can drive with the ball, and just a no fuss player. For me, he's the fulcrum around whom we build. Gavi and Pedri are still very young, let's see the level they settle at in a season or so...

Don't think we can compare Lewa to old Suarez, think that's extremely unfair. Old Suarez was fat, with 0 work-rate, couldn't control a ball to save his life and messed literally everything up. Lewa has been poor (as I said in the other thread I thought he was poor aside the goal) but in general...
