That makes 0 sense.

let me clarify what i said earlier. in my opinion, when masch plays as a cb for barca he is mentally restrained for many reasons, first, he isn't a natural CB and i'm sure it hinders his game, second, he knows he'll never be considered a leader here, like he is in argentina, simply because he's not catalan, even tho i'd gladly accept him as a leader, the club wouldn't. there are many other reasons. but if i were to compare masch in argentina and masch at barca, it would be like comparing a free wild dog with a tamed dog who has accepted his role. masch is just as dedicated when playing for barca, i'm sure of it, because he is a professional and a 'dog' with a heart, but he isn't a beast because of the limitations he's feeling here. on the other hand, bartra looks more like a leader, he shows more balls, because he knows he's THE cb, he was raised here and he tells himself everyday that he has to prove something.

It was logical to have Bravo start today tbf even though I would have wanted Ter Stegen to start. Ter Stegen will probably play on Wednesday and from there on, it truly starts.

Don't hold your breath. Unless bravo's injured or has a run of poor games, tS can forget about the league. Managers don't experiment with keeper's position once the season is underway. His only hope is the CDR and the CL grp stages. The steg's barca career was doomed the moment Song stepped in his path. My gut feeling says his Barca career will be short-lived.

Was it something you ate? No but seriously, why do you have to be such a negative Nancy?

Ter Stegen will get his chance.

yeh, but not enough to keep him at Barca.

As for being negative nancy, I need to find La Furia's house of misery thread. You should all join too. :cesc:

Well....... It would be strange if Bravo is a starter in BOTH the league and the CL. Would leave him with just the Copa then and I honestly don't think that's a great idea, especially for a young GK and someone potential-wise like Ter Stegen. That's asking for trouble in the long term, both for the club and the player himself. Would be better just to loan him out then and start Masip in the Copa.

Don't think it will happen though of course. I am sure he'll get his chance very soon.

You think he'll leave next summer if he's not the starter in this one? I doubt it. He's young, with time he will bench Bravo. Bravo coming back earlier from his international duties showed he knows he's not the starter.

If that happens it will be one of the biggest crimes ever to deny such a player as Stegen. Bravo isn't even close to his level and it really shows
